April began her dance journey at the age of two in Rochester, New York. Starting with tap and ballet, she later expanded her training to include hip hop, jazz, modern, and lyrical dance.

Her passion for teaching began early. At just 13 years old, April started assisting classes in tap, ballet, jazz, and hip hop. By age 16, her natural teaching ability and connection with students led her to teach her very own hip hop class. April has continued her education earning her LMSW. 

April believes dance should be a space where every dancer feels free to express themselves in ways that words cannot. She is passionate about creating a safe, encouraging, and inclusive environment where dancers can grow, build confidence, and become the best version of themselves both in and out of the studio. .
